Leak question/ Your opinion

Leak question/ Your opinion Background- Last season the car was dry as a bone. Over the winter I would start the car up here and there just to keep things moving and let it warm up and blow the condensation and stuff out of the exhaust etc. Well right as I put it away in November I noticed a small drop of oil on the ground and always after that when starting it. Got the heads pulled and such for my head/cam swap over the winter and oil pressure sender was dry and so was the cam sensor... thought to myself its for sure the rear main... didnt want to pull the tranny but I did anyways cause im not spending $5k in motor work to have a leaking engine and im throwing in a Monster Clutch anyways. Get it out and discovered there is oil around the cam sensor in that empty space at the top of bell housing that the cam sensor passes through... so therefore it is the cam sensor O Ring... no big deal I will get that changed out.
Question is- while I have the tranny out do I still change the Rear main even though it isnt leaking or should I stick to the "if it isnt broke dont fix it"?? I know it isnt hard to do at all but im a little worried that I will end up with the same horror story of I changed the rear main just because I was in there and now it leaks. Ive read that the rear mains are pretty reliable and rarely actually leak. Do I leave it and possibly not open a can of worms for myself since its good or should I just do it since im in there??
