pushrods length/purchase
Alright, measuring for my pushrod length. I have a torquer v2 and heads milled .020 and when measuring with the comp pushrod length tool I'm coming up with 8.5 turns on 3 valves and 8.75 on one of the valves. I'm using new ls7 lifters and positive I'm measuring on the base of the cam etc. I'm getting 8.5-8.7 turns to get to zero lash and I want .050 preload so that puts me at 7.275 length pushrods. Or 7.28 for the 8.75 turns so I think 7.300 push rods would be ok and keep me close to the preload that I want. Does this sound right or am I doing something wrong?? Where would I find 7.300 or do those sound too long? I ordered tsp pushrods but they only go down to 7.350 and some comp cams ones they carry only go down to 7.325... I have a tune coming this Monday and need these pushrods this week and expect I will be paying for 2 day shipping. Does my measurements sound correct for my lifter setup, mill on my heads, cam, and using stock rockers? Where would I find 7.300 in stock and good quality?

All of those pushrods are made by Trend anyways, Comp doesn't make their own. Call Trend, they will have the sizes in stock. Heck, my custom double taper pushrods only took a week to get from them. They will also do custom lengths if you want to split the difference between your measurements.
Another option is the Manton 11/32" OD pushrods that will be much stiffer. You don't mention your valve springs but the stiffer pushrods will help at higher RPM.
