But, that's being swapped with a stage 2 TDP built T56. Definitely go with a dyno tune. My advice is to steer way clear of the TSP mail-order tune. I paid for one, and what they gave me, absolutely sucked. Car bogged like crazy and was hard as hell to keep running. There's a video of it idling up on youtube, just search for my username on there. Oh, and pay no mind to the barefoot man(me) and the broken exhaust hanger. You'll see that after I rev it, the car basically wants to die.

Oh, and ya, I also went with F.A.S.T. 55# injectors and an upgraded in tank pump. I think it was....255lph.
how did you like it before the tranny went out? or was it only tuned with the mail order?

It was only tuned with the mail-order before the tranny shot ****. Shift points were all messed up and I really didn't get any good road time with it before she went. She sounds mean as hell, just didn't perform like I expected it to. I'm currently deployed and she should be up and running with the new 6spd before I get home. First place I'm going is to a dyno-tuner. From what I have heard from others, though, they are completely satisfied with this package on their own cars.

it sounded good in the video, i know you havent got to drive it tuned correctly but would you be willing to drive 500 miles in it? or is it too aggressive of a setup. just asking because i drive town to southern california from time to time

Personally, no. Seeing as how I had another vehicle and like to keep the miles off the SS. The setup she has isn't what keeps me from entertaining the idea of a road trip though. I just like having 'low miles' on it lol. I'm sure that if you had a good tune, a road trip would be just fine.
