Default Hole in Block???

I was working on my H/C swap and noticed a tiny hole in the block webbing. WTF?? Anyone think this is of any concern? Is this typical?

Hmm. Looks like it's in a dry area. No steam or oil passages near it?

Nah, it's on the passenger side in the corner of the webbing. I have no idea how it got there or how long it's been there.

I found pigtails that weren't even plugged in when I started looking through the car closely. Oh well.

If it was running before, it'll keep running. Just don't put a 400 shot of nitrous on it.

Looks like an air pocket in the casting. If it isn't leaking don't worry about it

Looks like a headbolt has been "hydraulicked" and a piece popped out.
