hey guys new to site jus bought myself a 2002 camaro ss....the dude i bought it from said he ported and polished the intake has magnaflow exhaust other then that completely stock..looking to get as much hp and tq as possible....moneys not to much of an issue so need suggestions..got about 77,000 miles on it jus rebuilt the T-56 6 speed trans, viper mainshaft, viperstlye second gear, premium bearings, best forks and syncros i could buy for stage 2 rebuild kit came out to bout $2150 for kit ! MAIN GOAL 500+ hp.......ill take 400+ all day for now..thanx

500 plus would be best suited if you stroked your ls1 out to a 383. That's expensive though. You can get close to 500 with a big cam, fast intake, ported heads, long tubes, supporting fuel injectors for horsepower capacity, lid, ram air, true duals 3". This is only an outline. You will need other parts to support these mods. I've got a list of what I'm running in December in previous posts. I'll throw the list up later. Also check out JakeFusion's build or Tony Mamo build. Martin from Tick Performance can talk you through a good cam. Just read around on tech. Tons of information on here that is very valueable.

 

I wonder why someone would port and polish the intake, but not do much else. A nice heads and cam package would be a good start...
