Default 5.3 turbo

I have a 99' 5.3 . I just bought a 76mm .96 a/r turbo and was gonna follow Hot Rods article to get around 600 HP .after seeing all the HP on this site i am wondering if i can get more and still use the parts i have accumilated. I have ls6 valve springs and think im gonna use a ls6 cam . I was gonna use 42lb injectors but now think i should go bigger. I would like to have 700 to 800 hp and keep the stock bottom end . Can anyone point me in the right direction ?
Thanks in advance

I have no doubt that you will be able to hit your hp goal, just be mindful of all the extras involved like upgraded trans, rear end, fuel system. It adds up.

If you read that entire thread, there are some who want bullet proof setups, other that go for a cheaper build, but risk some longevity.

Good luck!

This holds true for almost any build. 300-400 5.3's look great on the surface but if you want big power, you're going to spend a lot more than you think. I can't believe how my H/C build added up!

Im not too concerned with my drivetrain . This build is going in my jeep and it has Dana 70 axles front and rear , 205 tcase, trans is built but we will see how it holds up. Can i still use my stock fuel rails with 60+ lb injectors or do i have to replace those also?
