Heads 243 Can anyone help please, I have just purchased a set of 243 heads that have been ported, the inlet ports are rectangular, my research tells me they should be cathedral shaped inlets., my ls6 inlet manifold gasket seems to show it will fit. Can I use the manifold, and what cam do you suggest, daily driver 4sp auto 5.7

What are the casting numbers on the heads? If they are 243s they should say 243 on them.
As far as cam, there area million choices out there. It all depends on what you want. As for a daily drive, alot of people will tell you a 224 cam. Its a fantastic cam for the street, great low end & mid range power and definately can tell you have a cam installed but its not too radical.
