Can I get away with running stock 7.400 push rods with a hotcam and LS6 springs?

i would not take a chance measure , a push rod length measuring tool is only $20 , measure, measure, measure, not to had to figure it out. its posted on here step by step process.

Measure and get the appropriate hardened size.

do yourself a favor. when you're buying a pushrod checker, buy a real cam and springs. If you're going through all that work to change a cam, put a better one in.
