Default need help ASAp!!!!!!

i am doing my cam right now...and i can't get the double valve springs compress down...the iner spring keeps on poping out...i have the tool that hooks to the spring...should i jus get the one that bolts on to the head...need advice quick thanks

I had the same problem it was a PITA but I bought a tool from autozone that had longer
arms at the bottom that were barely able to reach the inner spring. Do a search for the
Larry tool, it bolts to the rocker arm stud and compresses the spring down. Maybe you could fab something up real quick. Good luck.

WHOA! You have to be carefl with those tools that grab onto the spring like that. The jaws that grab the spring can damage the spring where they clamp on and create a potential stress point on the spring coil. This can lead to premature spring breakage when the motor is running when the spring hits a harmonic as the motor accelerates.

Need to get one of the spring tools that mounts to the head and compresses the spring without grabbing the coils.

I build ( with wire welder) the tips op a little so they are long enough to hold the inside spring,
I tryed to use a look a like "LARRY'S TOOL" the only bolts and nuts I could find would bind and pull the threads on the bolt after only used on one spring , there after I drug out the welder
