Psi 1511 users?
I installed a set of these psi 1511with a eps cam It's a 226-230 .598 .600. How long should these springs go for. I installed them at 65k. At 74 ish I removed the heads to change lifters. Had valve job done. The machine shop said they were fine. Now I'm at 81k. These are stock valves in 241 heads with a valve job. Most of the driving was highway back and forth from neworleans to laffayette before I moved back to neworleans. With some Wednesday nite TNT at the track in their. How long are you guys that are useing these getting from them ? Should I consider changeing them soon?
EPS cams are supposed to be run with beehives, if they checked them and they were good then you should be okay? Did they tell you how much they were in spec, like seat pressure and stuff? You could always just buy some more, 200 bucks isn't much for a peace of mind.
He said they were right where they need to be.
Geoff over at eps tuned the car. He said he likes to use dual springs. We saw no indication of valve float on the dyno with these.
I'm approaching the 20k mark on these guys and was just curious as to how far so of you are going with them.

I've had some last 32k miles before I changed them on XFI lobes. Test them every 10k and based on results make a decision. Mine were still within acceptable specs but after 3 years I thought a new set would be smarter.

good for another 10k at least. i love the psi 1511s and pac single springs. well built and reliable. i use mine with titanium retainers to further lighten valvetrain.
