Default 2000 Z28 High Idle Problems!!

Recently I just took off the intake and put new o-rings (upper and lower) on all 8 injectors. I put everything back togeather and all was well for about 50 miles. Now it is throwing 2 codes (both banks lean) and whenever I am rolling and I disengage the clutch the idle soars to 1500-1700rpm it usually is between 700-800. This continues until I make a complete stop then it drops back down. Does anybody know anything I could look for? All help would be appreciated!

Have you checked for any vacuum leaks?

Yeah, all seems fine the 2 lines in the back of the intake are connected and the brake booster hose on the intake.

PCV hose has a small rip in it by the #8 cylinder, but would that leak enough to cause these problems?

The smallest vacuum leak can easily cause this. I had a small tear in a vacuum line and same thing happened to me. to pin point the location try the brake/carb cleaner method.

PCV hose as it went into the intake behind the TB was cracked on my car and created the same high idle issue. I decided to just do the LS6 PCV conversion, but it took care of the problem.

To everyone facing this problem, the PCV was indeed the problem and through alot of (lean fuel) codes and Mass Air problems. I just took some 3/8 fuel line and attached to the back nipple (where it from 2 hoses to 1) and ran it to the intake with my PCV valve in the line. It runs perfect now and has never ran better. Thanks all for the advice.
