Default need answers please

i have been reading like crazy and have mixed reviews. i just picked up a 5.3 truck block. now my question is do i use the 706 heads or use the 241 heads?? this is going to be a turbo motor. next question is what cam? z06? and what valve springs should i go with? just need some guidence please. sorry if this is a repeated question.. thanks tony

Maybe try the forced induction forum???
Probably lots of build info there....

706's have a bad rep due to issues with the foundry that cast them. If there is a battery logo on the head around the rocker bosses, they are the problematic head.

241's would probably be a better head. You'll start off with larger valve sizes and they don't have the issues with cracking around the bolt holes like the 706's do.
