Default Cam question?

Since putting in the TR224 my car has has some oil consumption issues. I've done the LS6 valley, catch can, and checked all valve seals. It has to be getting by the rings. I've read that the TR224 raises the cyclinder pressure pretty high. Is this true for all aggressive camshafts? What variances in the grind would allow lower pressure while still making power? Looking for something alittle bigger maybe that could possibly help the issues I'm having if possible. Thanks in advance.

do a leakdown test.this should help to detemine the cause(rings, valves, etc).how many miles are on the car?remember, when you hammer on the car,it's more lilkely to burn oil than when you are just cruising around.

Car has 20K on it and I don't beat on it that bad. Did the GM top cleaner today, fresh plugs, and changed the oil to Non Syn 10-40. We will see. Maybe the redline was too slick? It didn't burn any for the first 700 miles of the redline then started using again.
