well i go up to the shop to pick up my car and he gives me this graph....said this was the pull after the new valve springs.....

weird how just changing valve springs can shift a whole curve 1000 rpm....

and to top off the night i was driving my car home from the shop and my new fully built trans blew...(was about 3miles from the shop)less then 200 miles on this trans(same shop built the trans) never felt so ripped off in my life.......

Valve springs can def do that. I'd ask for your money back on the trans and take it elsewhere.

Really? It made 428@5000rpm the 1st time and 431@6000 rpm the second. I was under the impression that springs can affect power up and down/ fix issues with float but can not shift a curve left and right. I'm not very knowledgable with Valve train, so what's the logic behind valve springs shift a curve left and right?

Like I said before, that first graph is all kinds of fucked up.

The second graph looks much better, including a realistic torque number. Both the power and torque appear to be about what you should expect from your setup.

You're absolutely correct. Valve springs DID NOT make that change. The only differences between the 2 graphs are changes made to the run in the software. That's the same run plotted differently. The shop screwed up and screwed you.

Yeah they all sorts of messed up the 1st graph, I'm guessing wrong load or inputs, sucks a shop would do that and lie to cover their asses. I have a feeling they won't be in business long screwing ppl like this. Good thing Hutter isn't too much farther away, I will be going there in the spring after I put in a bigger cam. I appreciate your help
