Default durabond cam bearings

Anybody ever have trouble with durabond cam bearings? Just got some in and the OD is fine but the ID is .009 too big not to mention burrs on every bearing.

interesting. I have the same ones awaiting install. No idea on the sizes but I did notice a couple coating burrs in / near the oiling holes.

If you dont mind when you check yours let me know what they measure. Im interested if this is a common problem. I was just amazed at how rough they were

I will. When you say they were 0.009 too big, do you mean you couldn't even install the cam or that the clearances were excessive? Either way at 0.009 it wouldn't even be close.

They install with a press fit, so the ID will shrink.

As others have asked, you have the bearings installed in the block right?

That's strange, they're rarely ever that big. I had .0005" - .0025" clearance with my Durabond bearings and Comp cam.
