Default cam or longtubes?

i would like to know the consequences, cons, pros, power increase of getting this cam below without doing longtubes. i will eventually be doin long tubes but it may take me a while.

TSP Custom 231/237 Cam: 231/237, .598"/.595", 112 LSA
Patriot valve springs, Patriot titanium retainers, seals, spring seats, & TSP 7.40" Chromemoly Pushrods, ported ls6 oil pump

i basically just want to know if it will be worth it to get the cam while i have the money or just get long tubes or something else? car is in sig.

The cam you mentioned needs plenty of airflow, and loves free breathing exhaust. You'd be doing things *** backwards by doing cam first.

so then why are you asking? everyone is going to tell you to have your intake and exhaust done before internal work. are you looking for that one person to validate your claim it wont be that bad.

besides, 98's respond best to LT's
