cam or longtubes?

i would like to know the consequences, cons, pros, power increase of getting this cam below without doing longtubes. i will eventually be doin long tubes but it may take me a while.
TSP Custom 231/237 Cam: 231/237, .598"/.595", 112 LSA
Patriot valve springs, Patriot titanium retainers, seals, spring seats, & TSP 7.40" Chromemoly Pushrods, ported ls6 oil pump
i basically just want to know if it will be worth it to get the cam while i have the money or just get long tubes or something else? car is in sig.

i know just wondering cuz i dont think i will have this money available again for a while and i can come up with the money for long tubes down the road no prob. Thread Starter
