summit trunnion upgrade
summit trunnion upgrade I had a buddy sell me his unused summit trunnion upgrade for $30, cant beat that, but it doesnt come with new rocker bolts and i cant get some of the factory bolts through the new bearings. Just wanted to know how many have used these and if they had the same problem
Just go to a local hardware store that has a good selection of grade 8, M8 x1.25 allen head bolts. I'd take one of factory bolts with you so you get the correct length.
I had the same issue with my YT's and the stock bolts. I like the stock bolts!
I tried the correct drill bit through the rocker trunion, the material was too hard.
So I use a dremel and a carbide bit and just cleaned up the hole ever so slightly.
Problem solved.
