Default Absolute Speed 6.0L Stage 2 flow #'s Inside

Intake (Radiused Inlet):

200 - 153
300 - 210
400 - 261
450 - 280
500 - 296
550 - 307
600 - 317

Through an Absolute Speed Ported LS6 intake

200 - 151
300 - 206
400 - 250
450 - 263
500 - 275
550 - 283
600 - 280 *

The 6.0 Liter Heads went a bit turbulent at .600 with the intake. Im not concerned as my Cams Peak intake lift is around .595

Ill have the exhaust #'s shortly.

These heads/intake are going on a TTP built LS6 block with a Lunati 347 Forged Rotating Assembly. It includes the 4340 Crank, Pro Billet Rods and the 12:5:1 Pistons. The TTP Equalizer Camshaft V.1, Kooks Stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" Headers and Ypipe, Hooker Catback, TSP lid, ASP pulley, Mezeire Water pump, Absolute Speed 78mm Throttle Body.

I went with the 6.0 liter heads to get the compression at a safe 93 octane. Compression calculates around 11:3:1. This is a street car, will be driven 12K miles a year. Our aim is 450 - 470 RWHP on the motor. After my warranty expires ill put the juice on.

Now im just trying to figure out if id gain anything going with the 78mm LSX intake... Id need to sell the LS6 for a fair price to even justify the cost of one though.

Nice numbers.. If you don't mind me asking, how much did those heads set you back? I didn't see them listed on Absolute's site.
Thanks

400.00 for the heads, 1,300 for the head work with the dual springs and all the other goodies. I cant remember what i paid for the intake, but i paid 150.00 for the Throttle body. I supplied a core.

Awesome #s Scoobs, I would wait on the lsx a bit longer though, the ls6 should suffice until this lsx thing pans out.

That's sounds like a nice price for some good flowing 6.0L heads.

This motor should be a beast. If anyone is looking for A/S heads, you can come straight to us. We deal with Jay almost on a daily basis, you'll wait a bit for the heads but you'll make the power.

Id say the wait is 2-3 weeks. maybe more if hes running a gp or a sale on them. It seems thats the average wait from anyone. If you look in the buyer/seller feedback some of the companies that say they are on the shelf are taking 3-4 weeks now.

He is running a GP on these heads for 1500 dollars right now.

Nice numbers as always Jay.
Question for you Scoobie, why did you get 12.5:1 Pistons if you wanted lower compression? Did you plan the whole time one 6.0 heads? Not saying you did anything wrong and to be quite honest you probally did the right thing because you dont have to pay for the LS6 heads but still get all the benifits using the 6.0 heads. Just wondering?
Thanks

Actually, I had a set of LS6 heads and was going to build an all bore 387. I sent the LS6 heads up to Jay. The price got higher then my life would allow though for Stage III type heads and the Re-sleeved block. So i started searching for a different option. Matt at TTP had a LS6 block and a Lunati 347 rotating assembly that he had bought for himself including the 12:5:1 pistons. The machine work was already done. He offered the set up to me with a few extras for a price that saved about 750.00. Jay then offered a GP back in Jan on these heads which i jumped on. I traded my LS6 heads for a Electric Water pump, price adjustment and LQ9 Cores from Matt. Now here i am. So, i have a safer compression ratio that is still higher then LS1 or LS6, very similar flowing heads to the LS6 and it cost me less money I pick the car up May 21st. Matt will post up Dyno #'s before then though. I cant wait
