Default ZR1 Engine in a 4th gen Camaro?

Has anyone tried to put one in a 4th gen Camaro

I would like to try it..I see the engines on Ebay at a good price

they sure are sexy looking

I know GM did it at one point for testing, and I am sure it has been done. No doubt it is tight squeeze.

GM put one of the older ZR1 LT5 engines like you've pictured in a 3rd gen Camaro. The car required EXTENSIVE modifications to the body and the chassis. I doubt it would fit into a more confined 4th gen engine bay without a lot a headache. That intake sits fairly high, both in the front and back, exactly where the 4th gen has NO ROOM. And for what? 405hp problematic hard to work on horsepower? That swap barely made sense in 1993. It sure as hell isn't worth it now!
