Default NGK or AUTOLITE??

I have a stock ls1 Camaro. all I am going to running is shorty headers. cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust. maybe some time down the road larger throttle body and different gear ratio. I bought 8.5 mm msd ignition wires and autolite rapid fire plugs. should I get the ngk t55 or the rapidfire just fine??

Went TR55 gapped at 0.045 (per John at TSP) for my bolt-on LS1 and no complaints. Will only change them when I spray in about a year.

I like the ngk also. Just curious has anybody ever run the autolites? I now my turbobuick loved autolites. I would like to try them in a ls1.

autolites are easier to read the plugs...
NGK you have to get it hot enough to burn off the coating before you can read the plugs.

both work well

I have heard people having issues with the NGK's. I personally have used both and although I have never had a problem with NGK's, I prefer Autolites.

Autolite's are all I run in my motor. I have seen enough NGK's in a bucket that were replaced with Autolite's to sway me from spending the extra money on them. I have never had a single issue with a Autolite plug.

For those of you running the NGK plugs: How is the corrosion on the shell doing?

What autolite plug would match a ngk tr6? My car does not like the tr55. I will try some autolites.

If your running N/A like I am I'd just run the Autolite 103's. They are cheap & have never failed me. I know alot of other people who also swear by them & will only run Autolite. they don't get the publicity like NGK, but they perform which is all that matters.
