What Heads Should I Get???? I am looking at putting a head and cam package together, but I am trying to see which combo is best for my wants. What is the difference between the Patriot Stage II heads that are the 5.3, 6.0 or the LS6/LQ9? Which one is the best and why? I am looking to put this setup on my z28 with a decent size cam like the g5x2, g5x3, tsp 231/237 or one of the new cams tsp has coming out. Thanks for any help.

Well are you looking for an all motor setup or eventual forced induction?
5.3L heads are going to up the compresion: More power, but best for all motor.
5.7L heads are going to retain the factory compresion, give or take.
6.0L heads tend to lower the compresion.
I personally went with a set of Stage II 6.0L heads from Force Fed Horse Power -----Sponsor----> to go with my upcoming D1SC setup.
5.3L heads are going to up the compresion: More power, but best for all motor.

I have the TSP 231/237 and have chosen to go with TEA Stage 1.5's (5.3L). I'll post up when the install is complete.
Also, look into Patriot's StageII 5.3L Race Heads.
AP Engineering's 6.0L Welded Chambered heads look great.
Absolute is always solid.
I called around recently, and all of the above were very good options. I ended up getting a good deal on some TEA 1.5's.
If cost is no object, get a set of true ls6 heads and send them to any of the above for a stage 2.5 setup.

I've ran 5.3's 5.7's and LS6 styles. If you are going with a large cam, like the 231/237, I'd do the LS6 styles or a set of raceport 5.3's. It's all according to what your plans for the future are and how much money you want to spend. I have the raceport LS6 styles right now and I'm pretty impressed with the hand work on them.
