Default Livernois Heads

I was wondering if anyone knew the cc's off their stage 2 heads. I took a set to a local shop and they said the heads came back at 65cc so I wanted to see if anyone else had a set measured. Livernois' website says the heads are milled between .010-.015 so unless the 243's started out above 66cc's I can't see how this would be possible. I'm out of town and won't be able to get this sorted out in person until Fri, so any help in the meantime would be greatly appreciated.

They could've ported/countoured the chamber thus opening it up a bit to say 66cc, then the milling brought it back down closer to OEM cc.

I send Livernois a PM asking them about it as well. So I guess anything is possible. Once I get to the shop on Fri I will request they measure the cc's in front of me because this shop has been nothing but a hassle. They've had the heads for 2 1/2 weeks to be measured, flow tested, and cleaned. They did absolutely nothing for 2 weeks and gave me the run around as to why. I was out of town so my hands were tied. They finally did something on Mon but I seriously question the validity of their work at this point.

That's what they do. You have to request they mill additionally.

I see you are in ATL. What shop are you using? I like to avoid hassles whenever possible. PM me.

Well according to Livernois, 65cc's is very possible as stock 243's range from 64 to 67cc's. Learned something new.

Yes that is standard. That is true with all castings, that is why I say to always double check a shop's work to make sure.

It's interesting to find out that 243's could go all the way up to 67cc's. It shouldn't be surprising but since I haven't ever seen a set above 65cc's it is a little confusing. But it is what is and at least now I can order a cam.
