Which parts for valvetrain for torquer 2?
Hey all, Im going to purchase the torquer 2 for my 01 z06, I daily drive this car in anything but snow/winter season. The car currently has:
SLP blackwing
LT headers
Stock gears
Stock heads (and plan on staying with them for a while)
I want to get the best valve train parts that wont fail and will last as long as possible, this is where I would like to spend money and make sure the build stays solid and wont have to replace the springs every 15k miles, I would like to get durability and longevity out of my valve train (if thats possible,or get as close as I can to it). I Also dont know which pushrods to get, Ive heard people say 7.400 and some say 7.425, but basically I would like to do this right and put the best supporting parts I can into it. Thanks.

I briefly looked at the XFI lobes and I couldnt find a cam with same/similar specs as the Torquer 2, I like the power gains people get from it, I would like to aim for 430rwhp or so, thats still daily driveable and with a healthy valvetrain that will last

I'd look at something like the BTR Stage 3 for stock heads. Use BTR springs and heavy wall BTR pushrods and you'd be fine with those lobes.
