so I bought these used ported 317 heads. I took them to a machine shop to have them looked over. Turns out I needed all new valve guides, and a few valves. When they port heads, they grind the valve guides alittle. Now, the new vavle guides are stock shaped.
Will that affect the flow?

Have any idea how many miles were on these heads?

It will effect flow some what but it's such a small amount it really makes no difference especially since your are going FI.

20-30K Who knows.. its not like anyone would tell the truth. I was told they were in perfect working order. The machine shop replaced 3 bent valves and the guides had a lot of play.
Anyway, thanks guys. Im goin FI so I didn't think it matterd much.
