heads advise
heads advise so im looking for some 799's or 243's.. Im not sure yet what cam is in the car but once i do i want to know which head will be reliable.. obviously im not sure what springs and rod i will need till i know cam specs..
I was looking on ebay and found a few different heads. I would like to know if anyone has used these heads and what their experience was with them?

Considering there not ported I think it's alittle two much for stock 799 heads. You would be better off buying a used set of 243 or 799 heads and getting them ported new valve job. A used set of 243 or 799 heads you can score for 300-400$ than send them off to get ported. Look into advanced induction for there head work, I believe they also sell 243-799 heads. Go to your local savage yard you can get a nice set of used 243-799 heads for pretty cheap get them resurfaced&ported. 900 bucks is way to much for just a stock 799 heads
