i'm starting to look into a cam for my car. right now the Thunder racing 224/224 .563/.563 112lsa cam looks good to me. but i'm in no way decided on it.

i'm going to stay with my stock heads. before the cam i'll have headers, probably hooker LTs with cats.

does anyone have experience with this cam? similar setup? thoughts? advice? alternatives?

We've been discussing this for a while.

 

Thats the same combination I have, except I don't have cat. I like it a lot. Still has a ton of low end and still drives nice. I will soon be adding stage II heads and a 75-100 too.
