Just got done installing my heads intake and cam ... the car smoked for a bit after start up which i knew was gonna happen ... however after driving it for 5 mins and pulling over in a parking lot after taking it up to 4 k i noticed some blue smoke that died out ... Is this normal ? Should i expect it to smoke for a lil while ?

 

What kind of heads, how many miles on the motor? I wouldn't be over concerned about a liitle oil smoke for the first 10-15 miles, especially if it disapates as you drive it.

 

Absolute 5.3 l stg 2 heads .... stock 98 block with 56 k on it
