Smoke after head install ?

Smoke after head install ? Just got done installing my heads intake and cam ... the car smoked for a bit after start up which i knew was gonna happen ... however after driving it for 5 mins and pulling over in a parking lot after taking it up to 4 k i noticed some blue smoke that died out ... Is this normal ? Should i expect it to smoke for a lil while ?
