Help Vendors? Need a single Skat Pushrod: Howdy.
New TSP LS-2 Block arrives tomorrow from TSP for my 402 stroker rebuild.
(Rebuild? Ah... yeah, the old block was decked too far, had one piston hitting the head, bent one rod and spread the cylinder skirt, ruined the block)
Jon at TSP was trying to get me one from Skat ( thanks man ) but they are out that particular rod. Skat suggested that I ask some of their larger distributors.
So...Instead of spending the day on the phone I figured this is the best place to put the word out. Sure would be nice if a vendor just chimed in and said, " Sure we have exactly what you need and we can ship it out today!"
Here's all I have on the rod:
Skat H beam rod. 6.125" for LS2 Stroker 402.
Number stamped in the metal: 4229S
Bolts: -02 ARP 2000 SCAT
Weights:
Entire rod and bolts: 629 grams
Entire rod no bolts: 560 grams
Small end 136 grams
Big end 423 Grams
(Apparently the weight is very important even with the numbers...
Skat said they don't have one that heavy anymore and would need 2-3 weeks to make one)....
