Should be able to...the ls6 block is made with a slightly different alloy and has slightly better oiling

Not a matter of the stock bottom end holding the power. It's a matter of using good enough fuel and tuning to keep the motor out of detonation. I run a 100% OEM bottom end 5.3 (the "weak" older engine 2001) including all OEM 160K+ hardware/bearings etc.

I run 20+psi throu an s400 (75mm) turbo and make around 700whp. Plan on turning it up too. Using E85 out of the pump. (around 70% ethanol)
