So I'm attempting to build a twin turbo LQ4 build. I have broken down the 2001 GMC Sierra LQ4 w/ aluminum heads (See Pictures). I am a bit broken up about what I am going to do piston wise. Any set of forged piston heads are costing me around $450 and piston rods $450... I was hoping for a much less expensive forged setup. I am looking at 600-800 crank horse power.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
Well I can't figure out how to post images in here...

You don't need forged anything for that. If its apart put new bearings and gap the rings appropriately. Measure, make sure clearence is with in specification and boost it

^^^^ but you don't need forged anything for your power goal boosted.
$6-$800 will be fine on stock crank, rods and pistons. If you put it togather correctly/minimal effort with bearings and gap the rings.
Many cars with that power rating (lq4) and stock short &heads with supporting valve train.
