Ive been getting a p0300 code since the cam so I get a code for random misfire, p0300. its a hard code, comes back a few miles after its cleared, or when the car is started. took it to the tuner and he said its not the misfire table tolerances, or hat ever (im no tuner), and he has the table maxed out, and the misfire code still comes. he mentioned that it could be an intake gasket leak? dont get why it would come on right after the cam swap? any insight to this issue? the car does have to get an inspection soon, andid like to not have this code.

man diagnosing problems in a modded car with different cams specs is a different world, codes are tuned out and what not.
i always start off and make sure your getting fuel, air and spark. i knows its a random multiple misfire so check up stream (ex sensors, vacuum leaks etc) and make sure everything is working correctly.
if you want to check for a vacuum leak, you could use a vacuum gauge and see how many inches (hg) of vacuum you have. OR...you could have the car running and spray brake/carb cleaner everywhere there could be a vacuum leak. if the car stumbles or turns off while your spraying anywhere...bam unmeasured air going into the engine.
