Default Bad knock sensor without CEL?

Is this possible?

cam only '00 formula. Getting a lot of knock retard at part throttle, like 4 to 9 degrees. Timing in the affected area is actually several degrees retarded compared to stock. STFTs close to 0, fuel filter is new, no vacuum leaks, O2 sensor voltage and injector pulse width are the same between both banks, so I assume it isn't like a faulty injector..

Maybe your CEL is not working? Does it come on during start up? You're obviously a fairly advanced tech to have all the info you've posted, but sometimes we miss the little stuff when we get excited about the big stuff... happens to me, anyway.

Otherwise, did the KS get tuned out?

I know carbon build up can cause kr! ihad that issue a few years ago while tuning, ran a bunch of seafoam and cleared up. These fbody pcv system sucks, tons of oil getting pushed thru the intake.

CEL does work. I'm using HPTuners to scan.

Will try running seafoam through brake booster and fuel tank, cheap enough to start with I suppose.
