Default knock sensor??

I recently had my 2000 ss on the dyno and on the lap top you could clearly see the knock sensor or sensors were picking up flase knock almost from start up on my car has headers n up graded valve train exc.. I was wondering what was the best way to help to stop it from picking up this false knock which is making it retard the timing when it should be advancing it my friend with the dyno says I need to desensatize them and other thing I read say about cahanging my knock module what do I do I'm pretty new to all this..

You could probably replace them. I believe the replacements are the LS6 knock sensors (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Also might be a possibility that they've come loose. If they're not being held securely in the block they could be picking up false knock due to extra vibrations.

If they are the original knock sensors you might wanna check them out for rust... It's very common, also check your harness as they become very brittle and the clip that goes over the sensor can become compromised...
