ive got a thunder racing trutorq level 2 cam. duration at .050 is 223/230, lift is .610/.605 and lsa is 115. Im lookin to put the AFR 1660 230cc with the 65cc chamber heads on the car and was wondering if these would be a good match. future mods stroked and boosted. got plenty of money to do it all just pickin my parts carefully right now wanting it all to match up aight

Seems like it's a lot of head for a rather small cam, especially in a stroker application.

If you're going to stroke it, get a cam that matches those cubes and the heads. That would be a good cam for a stock cubed small head (215-220cc) setup, not a 230cc stroker.

 

I agree. Sell the cam and go with something else custom tailored for whatever cubes/heads you go with. You say stroker; what size stroker are you thinking of going with? If you go turbo, that will also dictate what size stroker you'll want to go with.

 

408 here.. The 230 heads would be fine.. But what cc for what cr? Will run like poo with correct cr for boosted if on motor.

The cam is small and not suited for goals.. Contact martin at tick when the time comes.

Mine is 24x/25x on a 110.. 28* overlap.

 

Yea I kinda figured the cam wouldn't match up too well anyways. Ill probably throw it in my truck lol. As far as cubes for the stroker ima go with the 383 from lunati but will upgrade to the billet rods
