Another Ls2 heads on ls1 ?

Another Ls2 heads on ls1 ? So i have been searching the site and found a couple of ls2 head topic but haven't got a clear idea. What is the difference with ls2 and ls 6 heads? I know they are the same casting and the valves are made of different materials. My question is, can an ls6 cam bolt in the ls1 with ls2 heads? I hear something about the valve lengths are different from ls2 and ls6 heads, but no clear straight answer. I'm asking because I plan on bolt ons with ls2 heads and ls6 cam for my dd. just not sure what additional things I need to do to get everything running. This may be a repetitive question but his is my first ls build and learning as I'm going. Haven't had much specs with search function. Any help appreciated. Thanks
