Default 98 Auto Trans Am Cam Selection?!

Doing a build for a friends Dad on a 1998 Trans Am NON-Ws6 car

Havent been up to date w the newest cam grinds out there that make good power and torque and wide power band...(Been stuck in the Ls7 world for a bit.)

Backround on the Car...
-Auto w stock gears in the rear which are either 2.73 or 3.23 not real sure yet.
-Ls6 Intake
-Stock Heads
-Kooks Lt's Off Road Catted Y Pipe, Borla Axleback Kit
-36k on the Clock

Mods Going into it w the Cam
-Link Bar Lifters
-Katech Rod Bolts
-Converter to Match Cam Shaft

Cars gonna be a street car w, A/C and Full Weight
Dont plan on taking to the Track ever!

Whats the latest and greatest in the Cam Grinds out there theses days?!?!?!
Hp and Tq numbers if ya got em and dyno sheets would be sweet!!!

Guessing Peak Torque Needs to be around 3800-4000Rpm area for a Auto, Heavy Car w Stock Gears in the back end?!

I'd recommend still getting the heads milled down (since they'll be off,regardless if they get ported or not) to 62cc chambers if you're going to use stock .054" head gaskets, or 64cc with .040" gaskets.
That's if you go with the Tick SNS TorqueMax Stage 2 cam.

are there hydraulic link bar lifters for a ls motor ? EPS has some good lobes .

Ive ran these in my Lsx 427 w Ls7 Top end 252/255 .670 .670 Lift Cam and Rpms at 7200 W out a prb and by far the quietest lifters I have ever herd specially w the large lift Cam I had.

I thought that Id get a little lifter tick but had zero!!! Motor sounded smoother than a stock low mile Ls1.
