engine from p/u truck or from express van??
engine from p/u truck or from express van?? Hi guys,
sorry for the dumb question,
is a GenIII 6.0 engine from a express G3 van the same as the Gen III 6.0 engine from a pickup truck or SUV??..(assuming same year model)
is the intake manifold from the G3Van a pick up truck style manifold (taller than the passenger car ones)??..
any difference I may need to be aware of???.....

The LQ4 6.0 was the same in all 3/4 ton chassis. The only difference would be if the motor was an LQ9 6.0 out of a high end SUV or Luxury PU. The LQ9 has flat top pistons for higher compression and more power. The truck intake manifold is much taller than the passenger car manifold.
