Default How strong is the comp timing chain?

The chain found in this set

http://texas-speed.com/p-2277-comp-c...iming-set.aspx

How strong is it? Is it better than an ls2 chain. I am swapping my cam, but degreeing it in this time. I have this timing set ready to go in case I need to adjust the cam timing. However, if the chain is stronger, I was thinking of throwing it in regardless even if I don't have to adjust anything.

Anyone have experience with this chain?

Comp hex adjust? If so, it's made by cloyes, same set.
It will be nice and tight, no slop like the LS2

Yep, that is a Cloyes. You can tell by the part number. The chain is the same as LS2, it is made by Renold. I was told this by Cloyes a few years ago.

Hmm, so am I wasting my time by tossing it in then? If it's just an ls2, I don't see the point then. Current ls2 chain has about 30k cammed miles on it. I guess it wouldn't hurt to replace it. I just hate that slop the ls2 chain has.

Oh nice, that's reason enough to put it on then.
