Default Full weight pig cam only

The car is a 01 camaro ss m6 full weight , and I was able to finally get around to installing the new rearend and suspension all from MWC.

MWC fab 9" with 4:56 gear
Weld 15x10 7.5 b/s 28" drag radial
MWC adj lower cont arms, p/h bar, tunnel mount short arm, strange singles in rear
Bmr weld in subframes
Tsp 1 7/8" longtubes w/tsp duals
Slp lid, k&n, bellow, ported tb
Monster stage 3 w/Tick master
A/C will be removed

Well, now its time for a cam setup. I'm going for a cam only setup as I won't be buying heads for a couple years. I have already bought summits brand Tru unions, now I'm about ready for some cam recommendations. I read a few threads about comp vs cam motion and I am leaning towards using cam motion. The car is mainly for track/street fun, and not a d.d. I donot want to have to change vsprings every 10k though. Any recommendations from experience?

Both of these companies along with a host of other vendors can get you set
up....Texas Speed, Futral, or Brian Tooley. This is just a suggestive range
of cams to get you started in the right direction.

Cam motion is the way to go. I've had two cams from Comp with excessive wear on the lobes. Cam motion grinds all of Futral's cams for them. They have not had any quality control issues like Comp has. They will be happy to grind you a custom cam to fit your setup. Nobody changes valve springs every 10K. Unless your are running something real aggressive they will last 50K.
