Head Gasket
Head Gasket Looking for MLS gaskets. I can't seem to find the specs using the SEARCH link.
1. Does a sponsor have them for 2001 heads (241 casting), if so, which one?
2. What's the thickness?
3. Does anyone know the width of the fire ring?

I just ordered a set from SDPC2000.com you can find them ------->. I also have 01 241 casting heads. I believe they are the stock graphite and are .054" thickness. Hope this helps.

you cant use a mls gasket on pre 2002 heads unless its a ls6 head, they will leak externally where the notch is on the outside of the cyl. head[water will seep in beteween the gasket layers to the notch]
