mild street combo, insight welcome. Ok for starters this is in a 2004 gto.. It is a street driven car that may see some occasional track time. I am looking to upgrade and looking for choices as well as experience for heads, and a nitrous kit. I have a few options in mind but want to hear some thoughts.
current mods
pacesetter longtube
slp lm1 exhaust
k&n fipk
tsp 228r cam
tsp pushrods
comp cams trunion upgrade
ls2 chain.
ported ls6 pump
looking at doing
N20 outlet plate kit
prc 225 as cast heads
I also though about changing the cam out again as well, but I may keep the 228r. I had a great experience from tsp my last purchase and want to buy the cylinder heads from them. Are the 225s a good choice? or should I look at a little less like a ported stock casting. keeping in mind this is a street car and I may loose a little bottom end but that is not a big deal. The car still has a ls6 manifold and stock throttle body, is it really worth the extra expense of a fast , or should I port the ls6 ? I am also wanting to add a n20 outlet plate kit for a little extra kick. any advice on the heads/ intake selection would be greatly appreciated.
