Default Motor or Tune

I currently own a turbo LS1. I run 5psi all the time and 9psi with 50/50 methanol injection. I took it to a shop to get tuned and they recommended 42lb injectors. I got the car dyno tuned and they said I was all set. This is not a daily driver so I may have about 2500 miles on the tune. I have driven the car pretty hard at the track and on the road. I developed a random missfire a couple of weeks after the tune. It slowly got worse until now #5 has 40psi from a compression check. I purchased vcmedit to look at my tune and from my research things do not add up.

How can I tell if it was the tune or a weak motor?

Only thing I can think of is try a leak-down test on that cylinder and see if one of your rings has gone bad.

I am actually curious of what people think of the timming tables. Would they have tuned it different?
