I just picked up an 01 ls6 cam for my 4.8 rcsb silverado. A lot of people talk about how good they are with boost but I was wondering how they respond to the bottle. Has anyone ran that setup before? I was interested in spraying my truck with this cam and wanted some feedback from a Guinea pig who has tried it first.

 

The 01 ls6 cam is not the same as the 02-04 ls6 cam most use in boosted setups!

However your going to make power regardless using nitrous!

I would search for stock 4.8/5.3 engines using the same amount of nitrous that you plan to use, also wet or a dry kit!
