Default Engine internal parts by VIN?

Can I tell what time in the year this 2004 6.0 was made by the VIN? It's a 2004 so it may or may not have all the upgraded rods/floating pistons etc from what I'm told anyway.

VIN U 2598919

Pulled form a 2004 GMC YUKON DENALI XL 1500

Thanks!

What's the last eight characters of the vin? I can tell you what month it was made if you have it.

Though that vin looked a few numbers short. It's just an ebay listing I think that is all the information they give. I just noticed they list "5-04" on the ad too indicating it's probably May 2004?

Could be. Unless somebody knows for a fact what month in 04' GM did the 2nd design floating pin rod/piston, the only real way to tell is to physically pull one from you motor. Unfortunately my GM parts catalog won't tell me which design you have by vin.
