Default Truck manifolds??

Does anyone think truck manifolds will hold up to a 5.3 with a 250 shot?? Looking to grab a set and make a quick forward facing header set just to get the car running.

First off, people are running big turbo kits off those manifolds (600hp+) so I don't think you will be having an issue.

Secondly I wouldn't start spraying a motor you "just got running" until you know its tuned and running properly and your fuel system is up to the job.

Ya manifolds work great. People have been well over 900 hp on them myself included

Doesn't nitrous need a freer exhaust like NA rather than intentionally building backpressure like a turbo does?

I k now the truck exhaust manifolds work well for turbo no argument there. My point is that I don't think that automatically means they work well for non-turbo.

+1 on this however im sure it will "hold up" but deff would be better with some headers.
