Default general info please

i have a cam i bought over a year ago for my 6.0 and i just found it. i wanted to know if i would be ablr to stick it into my 5.3 or would it be to big.
the specs are 242/248 585/585 110? thanks in advance

Is it a large cam? Yes. Is it too large for a 5.3? Only you can answer that.

I have seen a few guys use a Trex cam from Thunder in 5.3's which just happens to be the same specs as you posted and they run pretty well. A firebird close to me has one in his car that has a 5.3 and it runs 11.30's on motor.

It must be the older version because the trex v.2 is over .600 lift.

i think it is, i have had it honestly i would say almost 2 years. i bought it to put into my 6.0 swap but sold the swap, and now i found it burried in the closet..lol so i want to stick it into this 5.3 i am about to build..

Well the v.2 came out in 2004 so I don't know about that.

Well I found 2 can cards in the box so I went to my local machine shop and had them measure it the correct numbers are 224/224 563/563 114 Lsa hope this makes more sense now.

Idk but it has marked on it trex. Ok. Thanks guys I'll stick it in the 5.3. Should be fun.
