You can't go wrong with the Prothanes. If you need motor mounts, GET THEM.

Got them installed today. I think it actaually vibrates less. Before the engine bounced around and the headers hit everything. it sounded terrible. I wouldent hesistate to get another set if I had to. I am still using the rubber trans mount though

BKsNHRA, I am going to order mine next week, I think I am going to get the trans mount as well. And I will install when I put in my new motor. Heck I just dropped a little over $ 700.00 with Summit Friday.

I tried a poly trans mount once but it sucked. Id stay rubber myself but if you want give it a try. If you hear more noise and geet a lot of unwanted vibration in the car you can always swap it back. If you read up on the trans mount you will find it to be hit or miss. some love it and others not so much. I hated it.

That's true. A lot more folks tend to dislike the Energy Suspension given they have a steel "load plate".

I went with the Prothane on the Trans, and never had an issue. Stopped my Viagra-like shifter from "rising to the occasion"

I did not know that^^^^^. The one I tried was energy suspension because the local parts store had it on the shelf. Never tried a poly from anyone else.

I must say after changing the motor mounts I now realize how bad they where. The car feels tighter. No more noises from headers beating around under the hood/car. Its one of them thing that you got used to and don't realize how bad they are until you fix it then i was like Damnnn. Ive been driving it like that for how long...LOL Its like a new car again.

As far as trans mounts go a poly trans mount will transfer a lot more NVH into the car interior shell; even with poly engine mounts. I'd suggest first getting the TA mount off the tail housing of the trans first, then just stick with the factory trans mount for minimal NVH transfer since then the rubber mount is more than enough with the TA load removed from the trans.. Now if you just need a new trans mount(NOW) then get a ES or Prothane mount since they're a lot less expensive/ and easier to find.

That's solid advice. My trans mount looks like ****. I'm thinking a new OEM rubber mount for the trans with a BMR relo kit for the TA.

Yea i think i will stay rubber trans mount after my previous experience with a poly one. The poly engine mounts are great though.

The stiffer the motor mounts, the more vibration will be transmitted throughout the car.
