Default should i do a head swap?

ok I have a lq4 with a mild cam, hedders, exhaust, tune , and emissions deleted. im running a 80e , and a 4.10 gear set. as of now it has the 317 heads on it. I just got a set of heads, one a 799 and the other a 243, I talked to texas speed and they suggested to mill them, and do a stage 2.5 port job with stainless valves. they said it should gain 40-45whp. what do yall think is it worth the time and effort for my 4000 lb pig or should I sell them and save up for forced induction. if so what kind of money am I looking at to do a small charger. according to them it will cost me around 1200+ by the time I get the heads done and complete the swap.

If you plan to do a blower later, don't mill them. You don't even really need to port them, but porting will help with HP per lbs of boost. So in that end, $1200 or so would be well spent.

AI and TEA also port heads. Shop around and see what price you get from different vendors.
