Uping Compression
im about to have the heads off my Ls1 to do a cam swap and head bolts etc.
My cam specs are 240/244 .608/596
im wondering if any one can tell me if i will have piston to valve clearance issues if i up the compression to around 11.5 to 1 which is about .40 thousands difference from stock on my 241 heads.

You'll have to measure PTV clearance with that cam and it will tell you how much you can cut off the heads..
It needs to be measured, nobody can guess..

yes i understand that, i was just seeing if anybody has done a similar build to give me an idea if its possible with out fly cutting my pistons, and The cam has proven to make power thats why im going with it lol.

just got off the phone with vengeance racing and they said there is no room to up compression with out flycutting with this size cam.
