What springs are these? Ok I just bought a 224 cam from a guy locally and he gave me these heads that he ran with the cam. He said he purchased the cam and springs from summit as a package but doesn't remember the brand of the springs, so can anybody help me identify these springs so I can get them tested.
Look kinda like a set of comp 918. If it is I wouldent chance them. Id look into some beehives from texasspeed or a set of psi 1511ml springs. With a 224 you shouldn't need a dual spring.
I re-used a set of someone else duals once, ended up with a broken valve spring, lucky that inner spring kept the valve from dropping. I agree and would just buy new springs, cheap insurance!
